Tyler began a career in modeling at the age of 14, but after less than a year she decided to focus on acting. She made her film debut in the 1994 film Silent Fall.Tyler achieved international recognition as a result of her portrayal of Elf maiden Arwen Undómiel in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy.Tyler has served as a United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Goodwill Ambassador for the United States, and as a spokesperson for Givenchy's line of perfume and cosmetics. Justin was born and raised in Washington, D.C, and graduated from Bennington College with a bachelor of arts degree. He then moved to New York to pursue a career in the visual arts, but soon found himself immersed in stage acting. He starred in numerous off Broadway plays before his feature film career began.
