This starry tv drama is just about worth checking out for fans of Tommy Lee Jones who is uncharacteristically jovial and spend the majority of the movie grinning and chuckling.

This is just a simple story about an amiable cowboy with a good heart and easy attitude. No great adventure, gunplay, or Indians. But if you like cowboys, horses, and salt-of-the-earth people in the old west you should find this movie a lot of fun. Tommy Lee Jones was great. Even with his character's flaws, he was impossible not to like with his winning smile and endearing drawl. And Matt Damon was excellent in one if his first roles.
