Pacing - glacial. Premise - thin. Characters - wooden. Cinematography - amateurish. Plot - both unbelievable and stale at the same time. Plot holes - yep. Convenient coincidences - constant. The whole thing is criminally boring and I can't shake a lingering sense of preachiness. Maybe it's Swedish national exceptionalism? (Is that even a thing?) I honestly can't imagine anyone really enjoying this on any level. I wanted to turn it off after the first hour and I sincerely wish I did.

Motivations are foggy..as is the timeline ..the villain should have been 50 years older to make sense. Stuff like the main character saying she's super distant from her parents but then knowing intimately the photos they kept in their bedroom keeps your head scratching. There's no mystery, there's almost an interesting subplot with the chinese siblings but in the end its superfluous b.s. just like the lead going through a divorce. this movie is basically a trope collection.
