Nothing fantastic but fairly well-made and watchable, especially if you know little about the case. Dunno if it needed three episodes though – trimming the superfluous fat (e.g. Wilkins’ relationship with his son) would have made it even tighter. Decent performances throughout, in particular from Allen as the focus of the investigation.

Pembrokeshire was the scene of several murder and violent crimes, which went unsolved, and spanned several years. I love most of ITV's dramas and The Pembrokeshire Murders has been one of them. Keith Allen is excellent as Cooper, Luke Evans is fantastic as Wilkins. police work was good, there was no dead time and the show was always flowing. Also landscape and nature images of Pembrokeshire are also a guide for you to watch the series. It was breathtaking
