Why are they pursuing this family over a thousand miles, only to be picked off one by one by Sam Elliott? We're not sure. But if I were to be shot in the midst of outlawish deeds I'd hope it would be by someone as cool as him. I do appreciate the fortitude of the homesteader, as one who could really use the stranger's help but who is tough in his own right, as would typically be the case in the old west.

Pretty run of the mill TV western really only worth seeing for the rascally performance of Sam Elliott and his fabulous mustache.
