Dammit Janet indeed. It didn't need to be remade and is so many bars below the original.

I felt this was a great version of this musical! It's not an exact copy of the original movie nor would I want it to be. I felt all the musical numbers and characters were 100% on point. It just felt rushed and the song over the end titles was pitchy.

Although has some weaks points is a "copy" of the original. The best are the voices.

Misguided reimagining of the still potent 1975 camp classic lacks any sort of grittiness, instead presenting a slick, sleek, overly sanitised rendering; ROCKY HORROR as produced by a committee of Brad and Janets! Perhaps this material just doesn't work divorced from its 70s milieu; Cox is a passable Frank but is no match for Curry (here a rather lifeless narrator, real-life health issues non-withstanding). O'Brien's excellent score still survives, even in these less than ideal circumstances.
