The eerily South Parkish all-sides satire is redeemed, if such things need be, by the acuity and specificity in targets like Clinton (and Dick Morris) selling out the left to profit from the right, or the paradox of attempting to maintain, on both macro and micro levels, a concept of cultural identity amidst ever-homogenizing technological-media landscapes, when the main job of journalism is to keep you removed from the real world for as long as possible. There are a lot of movie cliches strung together here, putting it into solid 'B movie' territory. The best parts of the film are the incredibly cynical President/lobbyist interactions on getting enough votes.
