The Three Passions of Bertrand Russell

Using the letters, photos, film and books in the Bertrand Russell Archives at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Russell experts and others show how Russell's ideas continue to have an impact today. Each of the three programs in the series looks at this renowned philosopher and his ideas through one of the three passions that he said ruled his life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and the need to alleviate human misery.
