Using recycled cast from other reality shows rather than the "regular people" of the UK version might sound unappealing, but if the game promises anything of value in terms of a "social experiment", the Brits didn't deliver so maybe these botoxed buffoons are the way to go. Every single challenge and game "twist" in the 5 seasons of this (UK/CAN/USA) I've seen is exactly the same every season yet everyone feels compelled to act surprised at every move. Still, probably the best players & host.
