A brilliant "tour de force" performance by Stephen Graham, and in episode 1 there's one of the best and most realistic out of control drunk scenes i've seen on screen. I'm not sure the story thematically comes together in the end to great satisfaction, but it's the journey that counts and the naturalistic documentary style character study is simply one of my favorite movie types, innit ya cunt. Nice use of Aphex (Drukqs), but some other, overly long needledrops took me out of it quite a bit.
