Surprisingly, it made me want to keep watching. Compared with late TWD it's just a breath of fresh air, I guess. The second season is not as strong, though, and characters are becoming a tad annoying.

At the end of TWD, I was not too excited about the idea of spinoffs. Dead City seemed to prove me right on that, so I expected the same here. Nope! This show is actually good. It seems like it may be drawing a little inspiration from The Last of Us in some ways. It's not as strong as TWD was in its earlier seasons, but I have definitely liked this best out of all the spinoffs.

Certainly more consistent than its parent show, although the story and supporting cast aren’t strong enough to make up for the lack of tension. TWD always excelled by making you care about its cast, and being afraid of who could die next. This doesn’t have that, but it’s nice enough to see more from Daryl.
