I didn’t expect to like this one. Harris is really good and it has great characters and actors bringing them to life. An enjoyable ride. Apart from the very last scene.. Now it all depends on the 2nd season.

Darren Star managed to come up with characters every bit as shallow and vapid as those in "Sex and the City"... sadly, without a Samantha. The writing is so very lame, so the fact that Brooks Ashmanskas manages to suggest an actual inner life for his character is a minor acting miracle. And Marcia Gay Harden manages caricature without sinking to ridiculousness.

Binge-watched on 7/29/22. God I LOVED IT! It was a pretty cool experience to finally watch Neil Patrick Harris as a gay character. Maybe unpopular take but Neil Patrick Harris, who plays heterosexual characters, is a bit overrated for me and I loved his gay character as Michael. It was also sweet to see his real-life husband, David Burtka. A unique gay and love story set in the streets of New York. My baby Michael. Tisha Campbell's performance was tremendous. And the final episode was perfect!
