Best in the series. Not just for featuring my favourite selection of artists but for integrating them so well with the factual & dramatic elements. The initially awkward fiction framing (techincally inferior to Wenders' effort) turns out to brilliantly deliver an essential human context to the story. Keenly aware of the limitations & potential of the format, it's simply a wonderful film on blues that should work for anyone. Great expression of a paradoxical union between blues & Christianity.
