There is a lot of intrigue in the story which is driven forward by compelling performances from the ensemble cast. It never quite reaches the full potential as certain moments felt thrown away for humor instead of staying on a darker path. The ending the reason for all of this makes sense. Even when the ending begins to border on complete insanity. It works for what they presented eveb if it is highly unlikely to ever be real. The idea of fictional stories is that the impossible is possible.
