Note: Supernatural battles do not become commonplace, and in fact barely happen at all, and it's *wonderful*. A slice-of-life comedy that's less about superpowers and more about the cultural idea of superpowers, and chuunibyou, and what makes life fun and how different kinds of people communicate, or don't. There's a minor harem element but it's handled in a fun way, and all the characters are just fun as hell. Delightful.

So don't expect much action. The title is incredibly misleading. And I'm conflicted about the series; I really cared for the characters and a lot of leg work was done to make that happen. However, it was really aimless and only flirted with anything bigger. Superpowers can be metaphors but they still talked briefly about something more than that. I was so ready for these characters to go through hell together but it really didn't happen. Shame, it was a very emotional show despite the flaws.
