Ugh... I'm sorry but this was boring. I've liked other Agatha Christie stuff I've seen, so I'm not sure if it's that they source material just isn't as good, or if the adaptation is bad. Either way, I just couldn't be all that interested in what was going on, and got lost a few times on character names as well, so the actual explanation at the end didn't even work all that well for me.

Many recognizable faces but somehow it just drags. Boynton is charming though.

Whilst the cast were terrific as A.C. period piece actors (Poulter, and especially Boynton, who lights up the screen and shows real comic timing) this felt like someone had told Laurie that it was a 3hr run time when he was expecting 4. The ending was a rushed failure and left so many loose ends and coincidences that you fail to care. What was the point of the bowler hat man, the car sabotage, the beating up of knocker? Christie is nothing if the explanation is not clear. A terrific cast wasted
