A very sweet story where we wish we where in the film. Shows common hardships in life which transcend from the past to the present. It was nice to see the mental resilience and wholesomeness of the characters. And frankly any good man would fall in love with Alice. The pure heart and beauty would make any man be better

Not bad, but basically this is another variation on that tried-and-true TV staple, The Disease Movie. It's kind of interesting to see Witherspoon and Arquette this early in their careers, but mostly I wish more of Woody Allen had rubbed off on Keaton
