A dense, beautiful film. One of the few films that really nails the inescapable realities of poverty. It's cinema of the people. It's not angry at a system or looking for answers, just providing us with a snapshot of our lives. May be the only filmmaker truly carrying the torch that Diaz and Godard lit(this film reminds me a lot of Godard's Goodbye to Language). It's a formal masterpiece (this must have been crazy to edit). It's an absolute stunner.

I kind of liked the audacity and courage to try to give a deconstructed whole while still establisihing a meaningful structure but as it comes to those quotations which are the bad heritage left by Godard to young filmmakers, they disgust me because they seem to serve to baptize the film as philosophical or poetical whereas in reality it only signifies an absurdity because of the discrepancy between the word and image. But still not a bad try in terms of form.
