Henry Lehrman, the first man to direct Charlie Chaplin, tries to copy the success again. By 1915 both men had broken off with Mack Sennett and Lehrman creating his own Keystone comedy group called L-KO (Lehrman Knock-Out) Pictures with the exact same crazy comedy mayhem.... and same characters. Including Billie Ritchie, more or less as Chaplin.... with the walk. It's such a shamelessly rude knock-off that it's hilarious! Though Ritchie himself always claimed Chaplin stole the look from him.
