Ricardo Cortez as a mad gangster on the verge of insanity. The lovers was pretty lack luster. Garrick looked very out of place, but at least Twelvetrees was looking stunning. What was interesting about this gangster movie was how they tried to apply psychology to the violence. How Cortez would go into his crazy man trances. Felt kind of weird and fascinating at the same time. They hadn't tweaked the idea on how to get the intensity effectively through and it falls flat as what it tried to do.
