Bobbi Jene

Low-key docu-drama about an American dance student living at a dance academy in Israel. The life scenes and relationship scenes are so-so, but the parts where the movie comes alive are where Bobbi Jene dances, showing her unwavering passion for the art. Although much of the subject matter didn't connect with me, I give the director props for making a firmly realistic film, with a lot of integrity, which is not afraid to explore the difficulties of life as well as the joys.
