A rare but fine rural drama from Gustaf Molander. The print shows some wear and tear, but that doesn't stop the grueling hatred between the villagers from shining through full-force. What's unusual here is that they imported a American actress for the female lead. Winifred Westover, soon to be Mrs. William S. Hart, making a sweet impression for her excursion abroad. Fit right in with the Scandinavian setting and helped elevate the experience.
