Born to Dance

A polished MGM musical. But so artificial. Unhealthy sugar candy without any substance. Fun though, but it's not an experience that'll drag you deep into these peoples dilemmas. An empty experience which is nice to look at. You can't say musicals are James Stewart thing, but he gives this a good go and even sings a few songs! For me the biggest thrill was seeing Stewart being his gullible self. Eleanor Powell & Buddy Ebsen are great doing the goofy stepping!
