Bride of Deimos is based off an old Shoujo manga from the '70s so it's no surprise that the anime is filled with big hair, lanky long legged males, lots of posing and posturing and high drama. Just like with the manga the anime suffers from strange soap opera like dialogue, another thing that the anime really suffers from is the minimal animation used throughout with lots of panning shots of static images. I recommend this only for fans of the manga or old school Gothic romances.
