Tried to be more funny than it was, but at least they tried. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of fun to be had here, but there's just as many moments that falls flat, creating a uneven laugh fest. The last vehicle for comedian Sid Field during his brief peak of popularity. And he gets Margaret Lockwood to splash a little glamour on his silly antics. I guess it serves more as a rare look at a forgotten British comedian, who would die of a heart attack a year after this was released.
