Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings

I've never seen any Dee movies but this one is good. I mean, I wasn't bored by it but I was also hoping for more martial arts action. What exists of it is good but hardly noteworthy, which I guess is basically all that needs to be said about it as a whole.

without mystery, without clever deductions and brilliant reveals, the fights lack drive and the climax, while a good battle with quite memorable moments (ie KAIJU KAIJU KAIJU) there's no huge thrill of success, elation at laying bare the villain's plans and smashing them.watch it for spectacle because it's extremely good at that. But it's missing the story-magic behind all the on-screen magic that made the previous entries truly special.I still look forward to more movies in this series
