A film from the end of Betty Furness career and beginning of John Payne's. But it's character actor J. Edward Bromberg getting a rare lead as a inexperienced snooper trying to solve a gold mine resort murder. Pretty straight forward and keeps moving fast enough for an hour's thrill. Not going to go down as a classic mystery, but does the trick for a quick Fox fix.
