För fäderneslandet

A early Swedish feature directed and starring Georg af Klercker who was a big player in the country during the 1910s. Can't say many of his films have impressed me much. Not in the way that Mauritz Stiller or Victor Sjöström of the same period did. För fäderneslandet (1914) is alright in parts, but becomes way too romantic for it's own good considering it's a espionage film. And that way it becomes another forgettable release from af Klercker.
