Girls Will Be Boys

Girls Will Be Boys (1934), a British cross-dressing film a year before one of my favorites of it's genre came out, First a Girl (1935). Here Dolly Haas has to dress up as a boy to be accepted by her rich grandfather who wants a male heir to his estate. Like always in this type of films, the girl doesn't really look like a boy. Well, only if she would have been 13 or something, but not a young adult. But as a girl she's super pretty and charming! Which makes this a pretty good light comedy.
