John Bunny & Flora Finch were one of the first comedy pairs in movie history! Kind of like an older Fatty Arbuckle & Mabel Normand. And this is one of their last films before Bunny sadly passed away and went from being one of the most beloved screen comedians to fade into obscurity. Here Bunny gets himself a baseball team. All to impress the baseball crazy Finch. A good example of Jack Bunny's comedy. The story is usual there while adding some slapstick and funny facials to back up the comedy.
