An interesting take, and collabo, of the "what will you do with all that power?" story and a typical Japanese troupe of a "downtrodden father". It works best when it just focuses on the main plot and does not get bogged down with the dramatic subplots, which gives this an uneven feel. Takeru Satoh taking on a villainous role was cool to see.

It is one of the better Japanese manga-based live action movies. It can get a bit absurd or chuunibyou from time to time, but generally remains fun and watchable.
