Passable kids film gets bonus points from this Aussie viewer for the impressive and eclectic array of film and TV stalwarts in the cast; taken on its own merits, it's a benign and harmless piece of fluff, with the adult cast doing their best not to talk down to each other, or the audience; it is a dispiriting reminder of what a formidable impact HOME ALONE had on the state of 90s kids films - yes, you will see most of the adult cast members fall onto their backs here at some stage!
