L'Autre Monde

While it has some narrative clunkiness and a weak ending, and so is probably a bit less than the sum of its parts, nevertheless some of those parts do set up a fairly intriguing exploration of the "other world" of digital artificiality as a powerful vortex of destructive drives. The relationship between online and offline is more interesting than the usual blurring: while the two are portrayed as straightforwardly distinct, the online also encroaches on life in an increasingly contaminating way.
