La Rosa di Bagdad

Italian animation film that almost rivals Disney in visual quality! A real surprise, as this wasn't exactly a era for animated feature films, and they put out such a impressive film just a few years after WWII put their country to ruins. Does lack the same magic with its characters, but it's a fine Arabian Nights adaptation with a world I was really drawn in to. It's a quality release, and one that fans of classic animation must see.
