La vita ricomincia

Popular film in Italia at the time and clearly a quality drama. Just didn't have enough of the qualities that entertains me personally. That happens sometimes, especially with "foreign flavored" cinema, where nuances are lost in translation and national styles/moods of the period doesn't hit me as hard as more familiar grounds. On the other hand, it could be that this was a little too ordinary in its approach to entice.
