Lucretia Lombard

One of the earliest surviving Norma Shearer films! She's a spirited young lady in love with Monte, who is much her senior and much more serious then her youthful self. That's where the more mature Rich fits in. Most of the film is well played, but fairly ordinary melodrama. It's not until the last reel where we get real action and the movie takes a very different turn! It becomes so dramatic that it almost doesn't fit in with the rest of the story. Almost a desperate way of building a climax.
