A number of students have traveled to the Caspian region in order to participate in a kiteflying event during the winter solstice. Next to their camp is a small hut occupied by three cooks who work at a nearby restaurant. The cooks are looking for some meat to cook and there's no one around other than the young students. The film is based on a true story about a restaurant that served minced human flesh for food and is shot in a single take. (Venice Film Festival)

so brave and interesting movie, its story and atmosphere was so nice and nervous also different than typical iranian director's movies. havası ve anlatım diliyle gercekten güzel bir filmi tipik iran sinemasından kendini ayırması da alkışı hal ediyor.

If2014 & Iran'da son yillarda gormeye basladigimiz, Kiarostami-Makhmalbaf estetiginden uzaklasarak baskalasmaya calisan, bu caba neticesinde bazen farkli turler arasinda dolasan filmlere rastliyoruz. Bu filmler gercekten iyi olmasa da yeni bir deneme oldugu icin uluslararasi festivallerde one cikiyor. -Misal; gecen sene Rotterdam'i kazanan filmlerden biri olan Fat Shaker- Fish & Cat de oyle. Oysa bu baglamdan ayirarak degerlendirirsek; ilginc ama zamana yenik dusmeye mahkum bir deneme.
