An army pilot is on a visit at the home of another army pilot in the neighboured country. He falls in love with his sister. After the outbreak of a war between the two countries, her brother is killed by her friend in a battle, he is killed by some friends of her brother. I only got into this movie periodically and it was a little hard to follow. But those moments that made an impression looked stunning in the color tinting. The romance was okay, but for me it was the battle scenes which really took advantage of the spectacular colors! The air battles and around the windmill. Those parts were exciting and the movie showed advanced techniques for the period.
