Messalina

Enrico Guazzoni tells the story of one of the Roman Empires most naughty ladies. Messalina, played by Rina De Liguoro. And if you've seen some of Guazzoni's big films before, you know what to expect. Massive sets with probable thousands of extras showcasing the greatness of ancient Rome. And this one was filled with sexuality, even a tiny bit of nudity. Overall a very solid film, but it lacked something in the story to match the excitement of the imagery.
