Monkey Grip

A nice slice-of-life film that does feel like an Australian Ken Loach film, with its authentic characters/dialogue and the fleetingness of important parts of life like love, though it gets a bit much as the film goes on, with characters constantly falling in and out and in and out with each other -- just like when it happens to friends in real life, I don't care.

It wasn't painful, but it wasn't very good either. The story was dull, the characters were dull and pathetic, the acting was pretty bad and it was just so lifeless and bland. I couldn't understand why any of these characters even liked each other, but I didn't really care either.
