A navy comedy from Republic Pictures with librarians and book thieves. More fun then it sounds. Decent low budget cast with the pretty Mary Brian being pursued by sailor Dick Purcell because he bet with his friends that he could get on a date with her. But he has a rival. Edward Woods, of The Public Enemy (1931) fame late in his limited movie career. Plus this got Joe Sawyer, Chester Clute, Lucile Gleason and especially knucklehead Warren Hymer on comic support making sure this was fun.
