One Wild Night

One Wild Night (1938) was a surprisingly funny throwaway comedy from Twentieth Century Fox. It starred Dick Baldwin, who had a very brief career. I wouldn't say he was anything special, but there was a comic cockiness about him. More of a reason to like this was the incredibly cute June Lang as a imaginative reporter. So imaginative that she drives her editor insane! The supporting cast perhaps provides the most laughs bringing their best game to make this goofy ransom plot enjoyable.
