In the Victorian period, David (Willie Aames) and Sarah (Phoebe Cates), two teenagers, travel with a caravan from Baghdad to Damascus. At an oasis, the white slave agent known as the 'Jackal' raids them, mainly to add the beautiful young Sarah to his harem of mistresses. David and Sarah and her manservant, Geoffrey narrowly escape, but all the others are slain in the massacre including David's American missionary parents. (imdb)

Super cheesy remake of The Blue Lagoon, but set in the Iranian desert of the early 19th century, with the young lovers being pursued by Arab slavers. The action is really hokey, but the movie is fairly riveting when it sticks to the real reason it exists...to feature the fresh face and startlingly nubile (and frequently unclothed) body of 17 year old Phoebe Cates in as many scenes as possible. Holy shit, she is hot. This movie is not.
