Quando eu era vivo estreava há 10 anos no Festival de Tiradentes. Taí um exemplo de filme de horror bem acabado, não trata o espectador como imbecil explicando em demasia - coisa que é fundamental pra manter suspense e torná-lo emblemático. MKO.

Incrível, pesado, assustador, verossímil, amei!

Not so much Polanski-esque, but actually a skillful supernatural story that attaches itself to the recent wave of creepy films about middle class crisis backed by traumas/economic disturbances. More straightforward as a genre exercise than Hard Labor, this one dares to use familiar remarks of horror filmmaking in Hollywood (VHS, kid's drawing, noisy floors and doors, funny exorcism) to both please and scare. Also, the Fofão doll and the subtle black comedy make me file it next to Insidious.
