Small, feelsy art film of the "yeah, it was 'aight" variety. Might've bumped it up half a dozen points if I hadn't watched it with Swedish subtitles that made the non-English/non-Japanese parts halfway indecipherable, but this type of low-stakes post-sad small family-ish drama rarely hits the spot for me. Successfully made me want to eat a bunch of delicious stuff, though.

The movie disappointed me a bit. the film seems to care more about the food/eating scenes than the actual story which is fine because I love food but it made me not care about the characters at all.
