Rationing

A Wallace Beery & Marjorie Main comedy about -Rationing (1944), so it's a look into a very specific time-period of the war and humor that existed in that brief hole in time. Beery & Main play off each other well, as they always do. the characters around them are clear and make the scenario easy to understand. I won't call it among Beery's best, but as a largely forgotten movie it still holds the quality you'd expect from such characters of classic Hollywood.
