Robo Ji

All the usual Shinobu Yaguchi stylings are there, but it all comes together as a lesser entry in the filmography. I think his style works best when the subject at hand is something you can really immerse yourself into and dissect, like music or forestry. Doesn't quite work with the abstract idea of "robots." Still lots of great gags though.

Light comedy kept interesting by sensitive performances from the leads.
