Feels like someone trying a bit too hard to make a Dardennes movie. Some aspects feel forced and the editing seems to not trust the the characters and actions to be compelling enough. Even so, it's quite good for the most part with a lead character that is sympathetic yet flawed and some strong interpersonal dynamics at play.
