She's a Soldier Too

Doesn't nail what it goes for, but I found a lot of charm in it. We follow old spinster Beulah Bondi living in a big house with her siblings, when during the war her precious house becomes a shelter for working women and a baby. Stubbornly she wants them out and so starts the friction between her and brother Percy Kilbride. And while Bondi does her role well, it's Kilbride that makes the experience a good one for me. His slightly eccentric but friendly demeanor makes the sentimental feel good.
