Bloated, high-stakes actioner with melodrama bits where our hero loses his leg on a rescue, gets an office job, refuses it, radicalizes against the rotten system, joins an Al-Qaeda-ish terrorist group to reproduce the 1993 WTC attack on downtown HK -- along with a nuclear device to explode the airport --, gets a concussion and amnesia and his ex-girlfriend tries to Eternal Sunshine trick him to think he's an undercover cop -- and it kinda works!? Just lovely entertainment. Lau >>> Cruise.
